However, you will require a medical referral if you qualify for a Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) claim or a Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan.
Yes. Maroondah Osteopathy & Sportscare is an approved service provider for WorkCover and Transport Accident Commission (TAC) Insurance claims. Cover for these services needs to be arranged with your insurance company. At your initial consultation, you must:
* Provide a letter from your insurance company confirming that your claim has been approved
* Provide your claim number
* Provide full contact details of the insurance company.
Please note that full payment is required on the day of your treatment/s, other than for DVA treatments.

Yes, we have plenty of onsite parking near our clinic. 2-hour parking is available in the car park, you can either enter through Milne Place, Dickson Crescent or Oban Road.
Yes, we accept all private health funds, and most health funds provide rebates for Exercise Physiology, Dietetics, Massage and Osteopathy. The amount covered by your private health is determined by the level of cover that you have.
We can claim directly on the day for you through our HICAPS system.
Please bring any previous scans, X-rays or blood tests. If your GP has referred you, please bring along the referral paperwork.
Yes, you can bring a family member or friend with you to your appointment.
When you first come into the clinic, you will be asked to fill in an information form which we also include a medical history part. Your treating practitioner will then take you through a thorough case history. Depending on what modality you see your practitioner will conduct an examination and provide a diagnosis. The practitioner will then provide a treatment and a personalised management strategy.
Yes, there are many available options for treatment sessions with our Exercise Physiologists. You can complete with friends or family. If you have any questions or wish to enquire please contact our reception team.
