When Should I Replace My Pillow?

According to experts, it is recommended to change your pillow every 1.5-5 years depending on the pillows material. Pillows come in a range of materials such as down or synthetic filling, foam, memory foam and latex. These materials all have different life spans on how long they give you the best support possible.

Other factors that can indicate when to replace your pillow are: 

  • Discolouration, yellowing or other stains 
  • Your pillow becomes lumpy, has craters or divots in it 
  • Your pillow has lost its shape 
  • You pillows fails the spring test. When your pillow is folded in half it should ‘spring’ back open
