Our kids gym services are designed by our qualified Exercise Physiologists to create safe, fun, and age-appropriate exercise programs, allowing children to move and exercise in a controlled and supportive environment.

Our kids group programs including school holiday sessions, pre-teen and teen gym, alongside our individual sports performance program are designed to help children and teenagers build strength, confidence, and a lifelong love of movement. Through fun, structured, and age-appropriate exercise, we support physical development, coordination, and overall fitness in a safe and encouraging environment.

Whether your child is new to exercise, returning to activity, or looking to improve performance, our kids gym programs focus on positive movement experiences that promote healthy habits, resilience, and self-belief!

Improved Sports Performance

Our kids gym programs help young athletes move better, get stronger, and perform with confidence in their chosen sports. Through age-appropriate strength, coordination, and movement training, we support speed, balance, and overall athletic performance in a safe and encouraging environment.

Fun & Engaging

Our kids gym sessions are designed to be exciting, playful, and motivating, so children actually enjoy being active. With games, challenges, and variety in every session, we make movement fun while building confidence, fitness, and healthy habits.

Injury Prevention

Our kids gym programs teach safe movement, proper technique, and strength-building exercises to help prevent injuries. By focusing on balance, coordination, and body awareness, we keep young athletes active, confident, and ready to enjoy sports safely.

Pre-Teen Gym Classes

Our Pre-Teen Gym is a weekly program run by our Accredited Exercise Physiologists. This fun group session has a max of 6 participants. It is targeted at 8-12 year olds wanting to improve their speed, agility, strength & coordination in a group environment. This can also be a good way to introduce your child to a gym environment for the first time, learning how to use the space safely. 

Pre-Entry Requirement: 60 minute 1:1 initial assessment 

Includes: 10 x 45 min 1:6 gym sessions

Teen Gym Classes

Our Teen Gym is a weekly program run by our Accredited Exercise Physiologists. This fun group session has a max of 6 participants. It is targeted at 12-16 year olds wanting to improve their speed, agility, strength & coordination in a group environment. This can also be a good way to introduce your child to a gym environment for the first time, learning how to use the space safely.

Individual Sports Performance Program

Our tailored individual programs help kids and teens reach their full athletic potential. Such as; running faster, kicking further, increasing strength and jumping higher. Injury prevention is also a key component of this program targeting common muscle weaknesses in the growing athlete.

Includes: 

90 minute initial assessment (45 min gym, 45 min nutrition)

5 x 30 min 1:1 gym sessions with an Exercise Physiologist

Our practitioners at Maroondah Osteopathy and Sportscare are highly trained healthcare professionals who use their knowledge of the human body to tailor treatments to the specific needs of each individual patient. If you’re looking for a natural and effective way to improve your health and well-being, exercise physiology may be the right choice for you.

Our Practitioners are Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP) with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA). Their services are eligible for Medicare rebates alongside a Chronic Disease Management plan, and Private Heath rebates.

Our Practitioners are registered with Australian Massage Association, Myotherapy Australian Association and many health funds provide rebates for this service.
